On the 9th day of Christmas my true love gave to me …

Spirulina nicecream with cacao nibs: Serves 4

(DF, GF, VEGAN, PALEO)

 

Ingredients:

5 frozen bananas (chop bananas into quarters and place in a plastic freezer bag in the freezer overnight)

1/2 tsp. Melrose Organic Spirulina powder

3 tbs. coconut cream

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tbs. cacao nibs

4 mini waffle cones (optional, you could serve in glasses)

 

Method:

Blend frozen bananas, coconut cream, spirulina and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth and creamy.

You will need to scrape sides down in blender. When an ice cream consistency is reached (about 2 mins) scoop the mix into cones (or in glasses) and sprinkle on cacao nibs.
